RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman (2 day)
Description
The RYA has designed a 2 day course which will "give students confidence to helm a vessel safely on inland waterways". The first day is mainly instruction and the second is mainly practical when the students are given the opportunity to display their understanding and abilities. Topics covered include boat care and handling, lock operation, rope work, personal and boat safety and care of the environment.
If you take out a boat booking in advance of a training course, you can receive 50% (£160) off of this course.
